Thanks, babe. I am proud to be your wife, and I am excited that we have an insatiable thirst for the same thing- a desire to serve God through knowing more about Him. I am thankful to Him that He has steered us in the same direction. You have taught me that it is not only okay, but even GOOD to use my mind to develop a more comprehensive understanding of faith in Christ. (Until recently, this has been a foreign concept to me, as the Christianity I grew up in did not teach that the use of the mind was beneficial in faith, but, instead, our more emotional experiences with God brought us closer to Him.) Although I am not yet as articulate and knowledgable as I would like, I am willing to learn, and thrilled to be doing that alongside my beloved.
This is my first post on any blog. I must confess that I am a bit nervous. If you have anything to say, please go easy on me. I'm new.(Smiling)
